Winter Extra-Curricular Programs
Plymouth High School offers multiple extra-curricular programs that compete during the winter months. These programs are valuable to the overall development of the music department as these programs teach teamwork, dedication, and leadership while providing the training necessary for other aspects of the program.
During the winter, the instrumental music department has traditionally offered the following programs:
Winter Performance Ensemble
This group is the Varsity winter program. It is comprised of the top 30 percussion and color guard students merged into one performing group that competes in both the Indiana High School Color Guard Association and the Indiana Percussion Association's winter competition circuits.
This group was the 2010 IHSCGA Class 3A Divisional Champion!
Winter Guard
This is the Junior Varsity program offered for members of the color guard. This group competes in the IHSCGA winter competition circuit and is open to students in grades 8-12.
Winter Drumline
