Assignments will be posted here as well. Make sure you are logged in by 11:15 a.m. We will have advisory AFTER band this year and that begins when band ends at 12:05. Make sure you are logging into to Advisory immediately after band.

Week 2 - January 11-15

This week, we will continue to work on the following:
The two warm up sheets (scales and lip slurs).
Rehearsing the new music (Where the Black Hawk Soars).
Selecting solo and ensemble music.
If you would like to do the virtual solo and ensemble contest, please email me right away. The deadline to sign up is this Friday. Once you sign up, I will search for music for you to practice for the event. You will have nearly 2 months to get this music ready to submit.

Thursday/Friday:
Today, we will begin sightreading in class on a new piece of music for ISSMA contest this spring. I will be downloading the parts for the Virtual Learners to begin working on this as well. Also, make sure you still have the Major Scale Sheet #1 and the Lip Slurs sheet from semester 1. We will be continuing to do these daily in class during warm up. If you need a copy, let me know and I will add downloads here.
